Fun Uncles

Belly Bumps are a nightly tradition in our household. They happen right after bath. This night was extra special because Tommy was able to do belly bumps with not only daddy, but his uncles too.

A video of Tommy being silly with Uncle Scott and Uncle Bucket.

Fun Uncles

This past weekend Uncle Scott and Uncle Bucket came out to visit. Saturday we had gorgeous weather and were able to spend most of the day outside. We walked around downtown St. Joe, had lunch, walked the pier, and played on the beach. Tommy even got to throw rocks into the water, his favorite thing to do! Uncle Bucket found a huge brick to throw in the water which totally impressed Tommy. He kept saying "try again!" Lots of rough housing happened all weekend which Tommy loved. Tommy was sad to see his uncles leave. Right after they left, he came in for hugs and said to me "fun uncles."

Chore Chart

Well, we thought Tommy would never fill up all the stickers on his chore chart, but he did! He had trouble with behaving at mealtimes. We thought being able to put a sticker up would motivate him to eat more or even behave better at the dinner table. Sometimes it worked, other times, not so much! Every other row on his chart had been filled up for awhile, except that one! But, he finally was able to get all of his stickers. He was rewarded with going to the bookstore and picking out a new book. Tommy picked out a Handy Manny book, and loves it! Since we have been doing the chore chart, he does love to pick up toys. Every night he puts everything away including daddy's work shoes! Good job, Tommy, we are so proud of you!

Friends

Tommy had his friends Brady and Anika over one night. Out of all the toys in the house, they chose to play with the toy box!

Playtime!

This week our playgroup met at Cheer Unlimited. One of the members of our playgroup used to own this gym, so she thought it would be a great idea to host playgroup there. This was a huge hit with the kids! This place is a huge gym with a springboard floor, long trampoline, and a huge foam pit. Tommy loved the pit. He was a bit apprehensive at first, but soon began running the whole length of the floor and then would jump in the pit. There was also a slide that would put the kids right in the pit. This was such a great way to run off some energy!

Easter Sunday

Here are the last of our Easter pictures. I must say Tommy looks very handsome in his suit! He received the bike from the Easter Bunny and it's hard to get him off it now!

Twas the Night Before Easter...

For authenticity we had Tommy set out some vegetation to satiate the Easter Bunny during his busy night of hiding eggs all over the world.

After Tommy went to bed, a visit from the Easter Scottie

This looks believable

Downtown St. Joe Egg Hunt!

Today we went to downtown St. Joe for an Easter Egg Hunt. They hid over 4000 eggs for the kids. Tommy had fun despite the cold temperatures...note the winter jacket on him!

Coloring Easter Eggs...more pics!

Here are some pictures of Tommy coloring eggs with Daddy and then a picture of the final product!

Coloring Easter Eggs Part 2

Tommy had a blast coloring the eggs and Chris still has the dye on his hands!

Kilwin's Tour!

Tommy and I took a tour of Kilwin's Candy Shop in downtown St. Joe. This tour was set up through the MOMS Club. The kids were able to see how they make fudge and also how they make waffle cones. They also were able to see where they store the ice cream and were even able to go behind the ice cream counter! The tour ended with everyone getting some ice cream! What a yummy tour!

Bunny Train

Last Sunday, we all drove up to Coopersville, MI to ride the bunny train! This train is almost 100 years old and was featured in the movie, Biloxi Blues. The Easter Bunny and friends sang Easter carols and read bunny stories during the train ride. All the kids had a great time! Charlie was the most excited I have ever seen him before. The boys are following in the footsteps of Papa, they all love trains.
