AJ and Ice Cream!

Okay, so I know I'm a bit behind on the blogs lately! We have been busy, busy, busy! I will try and be better about blogging now!

A couple of weekends ago we had beautiful weather so we headed to downtown St. Joe to window shop and walk around. It was so warm we thought we needed to all split a scoop of ice cream! Tommy requested chocolate, so I went into Kilwins and got us a scoop of french silk. So delicious! We all loved it...but not as much as AJ!! He was hilarious! He ate most of the ice cream and we had to capture the moment. We will definitely have ice cream for his birthday!

Downtown Snack Time!

We have been having such beautiful weather that we have had to take advantage of it before winter hits! The other day after nap, the boys and I headed to downtown St. Joe for a snack. Tommy picked out a baseball cookie, AJ had his favorite crunchies, and I had a wonderful cup of coffee. We enjoyed our treats outside and then walked around downtown. What a perfect afternoon!

AJ is 10 Months Old!

I can't believe it, but AJ is really 10 months old, the time is just flying by. We had a check up with the doctor, and everything looks great! He is 23 lbs. (80th%), and 31 inches long (97th%!!) The doctor was very happy with his growth!

Here are a few new things AJ is doing:

Crawling! He actually started right before we left for Disney and has been on the go ever since! He is getting so fast and giving me quite a workout during the day chasing after him!

Pulling himself up! He is pulling himself up on everything. He loves to pull himself up by windows and our patio door to look outside. This occupies him and is helpful while I'm cooking dinner!

Clapping and playing games! He loves to clap for himself and also loves to play peek a boo and so big! He is also waving bye bye!

Eating table foods! I have mentioned before that we were making the transition to table food, well he is completely on table food now and loving it!

So lots of new things are happening in the life of AJ and he has me exhausted by the end of the day, but I wouldn't trade it for a thing! He is such a ball of energy and so very entertaining.

First Day of School!

On Tuesday, we sent Tommy off to his first day of school. He did great! He was a bit nervous at first, but the teacher and aides were great and made him feel right at home. He even came home with pictures that he drew at school! It's hard to believe he has started school, the time really does fly by. Here are some pictures of him before we left for school.

Zoo with Friends!

Summer is coming to an end so we are trying to enjoy every last bit of it before we are stuck inside with 20 inches of snow on the ground! The other day, we traveled to South Bend with a bunch of friends to the zoo. We had a great time! We saw a lot of animals and even got to ride the train! We ended our day by playing on the playground across the street. I have to say both boys slept very well that night!!

Spaghetti Dinner!

AJ is making the transition to table food from baby food, and loving it! He loves pancakes, muffins, mac and cheese, and now spaghetti! Here are some pictures of him enjoying his dinner.
