Citadel Music Visit

The MOMS Club visited the Citadel Music Center in Benton Harbor. This was a great experience. The children each got to play the piano, listen to African music, play the rhythm sticks, and dance with scarves. Tommy and AJ had a blast. AJ especially loved the rhythm sticks.

Notre Dame Tailgate!

For our nephew, Charlie's 5th birthday, we all went to Notre Dame to enjoy a family tailgate. The weather was absolutely beautiful! After tailgating for a bit, we did some touristy things that I never took advantage of being a student. We were able to watch the football players leave church and head to the stadium. We watched the band play, met Irish Guard members, and saw the cheerleaders head into the stadium. It was an absolutely perfect day!

Pumpkin Patch Play Group!

We hosted play group last week and decided since the weather was beautiful to go to a pumpkin patch. What a great idea! The pumpkin patch had so many fun things for the kids to play with, and better yet, they had a display of Toy Story 3 pumpkins. It was so neat!

My Bucket Heads

The other day the boys were playing with the bucket of toy soldiers. Tommy decided it would be fun to place the bucket on AJ's head. Well, meat head AJ just thought this was hilarious. I felt bad at first, but then saw how funny he thought this was. He enjoyed it so much. Every time Tommy would put the bucket on AJ's head he would laugh hysterically. Then he started crawling around laughing with it on his head. I have to say this entertained us for quite some time one morning!

Family Fun at Jollay Orchards!

We have had so much fun this fall! The weather has been beautiful, so we are trying to really take advantage of it and do whatever fall has to offer us! The other weekend we all headed out to Jollay Orchard. We went during the week with all the grandparents, but during the weekend they have a lot more activities available. Tommy and I started by riding the ferris wheel! He was very brave and had so much fun on it! Then we all took a hayride around the orchard. Tommy insisted that we do the haunted house. He spent that time with head buried in my shoulder! The day wouldn't be complete without a snack! So we headed to Grandpa's Cider Mill just down the rode. We sampled all different kinds of cider, including banana cider which was surprisingly delicious! AJ and Tommy both had pumpkin donuts and enjoyed every minute of, what a great day!
