Coast Guard Tour

The MOMS Club arranged a tour of the coast guard for us in St. Joe. What a great tour. It was very informational for the parents and fun for the kids. They were able to get in a boat! The tour guides were so nice, all the kids were able to sit in the driver seat and explore all parts of the boat. We had such a fun morning!

Ice Cream Social!

The other night, our good friends, the Schraubens, hosted an ice cream social! What a great time! I took a lot of pictures so I will post a few and then I added a collage too with the rest of the photos! Enjoy!

Soccer and Picture Fun!

The other night, we were out playing soccer so I took advantage of this and tried to get some great pictures of Tommy in action. Here is what I came up with.

Popsicle Fun!

With all the heat, humidity, and teething going on around here, we have found some relief with popsicles! AJ loves them. Here are a few pictures of them enjoying their popsicles.

These pictures were taken on the 4th of July. We attended a parade that coincided with naptime, poor AJ had had enough of the holiday festivities and needed a rest. Too cute.

Blueberry Picking!

It's blueberry season in Michigan! We headed out with some fellow friends from the MOMS Club to go blueberry picking. A great time was had by all. Tommy did a great job picking the right kind of berries and enjoyed tasting them too!

AJ is 8 months!

I can't believe AJ is 8 months already, I don't know where the time has gone! No doctor's appointment this month, so I don't have any stats, but as you can see, he is a growing, healthy boy! He loves to sit and laugh at everything. He is almost crawling, I'm really in trouble now! From the sitting position, he can get himself into the crawl position and then he starts rocking back and forth. However, after sometime he just collapses and then puts his head on the ground as if he has just worked out too hard. He is saying Mama and Dada a lot which is wonderful to hear in his sweet little voice. Though he usually shouts Mama and says dada sweetly...go figure. Anyways, he is joy to be around, we just can't get enough of him!

WrestleMania!

AJ, who is just under 8 months, has discovered wrestling. Too young? Probably, but he loves to mess around with his older brother. He laughs hysterically to the point he will give himself the hiccups. Tommy is good with him too, he (most of the time) remembers to be gentle. I can only imagine what these two will be doing in a couple of years. I know I'm in trouble!

A Sandcastle Gone Wrong

Tommy loves to build castles at the beach. Chris and Tommy decided to build a sandcastle the other day. Tommy started by collecting water in his bucket in order to make the sand wet. Chris and him filled up the buckets with wet sand and started constructing the castle. Chris decided to put build the castle up first. As soon as he lifted the smaller bucket off the top of the base of the castle everything just collapsed and they just gave up...oh well, better luck next time.

A Walk on the Pier

With such wonderful weather this weekend, we decided to take full advantage of being outside and by the water. The other night before bedtime, we went into St. Joe and walked the pier. It was so much fun to see all the boats out, we all had a great time!
