Horse Farm Visit

A few days ago we visited a local horse stable with the MOMS Club. We got to see many of the horses they will be showing in the county fair that is coming up. A brave few even got to pet the horses. Tommy preferred just to look at them. He also loved the cats in the stable. Of course our visit wouldn't be complete if we didn't visit the tractors out back! Brady, Casey, and Tommy had fun sitting in the tires!

Nonni and Poppy T. Come to Michigan!

Nonni and Poppy T. came to visit us in Michigan. We had a blast! We kept busy by visiting the Curious Kid's Museum, picking fresh fruit and veggies, taking a day trip to Holland, visiting Notre Dame, and of course going to the beach! I think the highlight of the visit was heading down to Silver Beach in the late afternoon, having pizza on the beach and watching the sunset. You couldn't ask for a more perfect evening. Happy 5 Year Anniversary!!

I can't believe it's already been 5 years. If you told me 5 years ago that we would have moved 3 times, had a wonderful 2 year old son and expecting a second son, I don't think I would have believed you! It's been a crazy, fun-filled 5 years. One thing that hasn't changed over the 5 years we have been married and the 9 years we have been together is your knack for making me laugh. We have so much fun together no matter what the circumstance. I know that will continue throughout our whole marriage because you truly are my best friend. I couldn't do any of this without you. We make a great team and will for many years to come!

Lawn Mower Men

Like father, like son.

My favorite part about them mowing the lawn together is if Chris has to stop the mower for some reason, Tommy asks him, "Does your mower need more bubbles?"

Boy or Girl?

We found out this past week we will be having another boy. We are ecstatic that Tommy will have a brother to grow up with. The baby is doing well and is right on schedule!

Tommy and the Princesses!

This will the last Disney post! We had a blast on vacation and created great family memories. One of the highlights for Tommy was meeting the princesses. He wasn't too familiar with any of them, but the first night we were there, we caught the SpectroMagic parade. Cinderella is in this parade, Tommy immediately fell in love and requested to meet her. We found out that there is a whole building dedicated to meeting the princesses and fairies. As you can see from previous posts, Tommy was not shy at all with the characters, however, when it came to the pretty princesses, he became Prince Bashful, as Cinderella called him! Chris, however, noticed that Tommy was the only boy waiting in line to meet the princesses and was not happy about it. I had to promise him we would seek out Captain Hook to balance this out! Swimming!

While in Florida, we took advantage of the swimming pool at our hotel. We went for a couple evening swims with Tommy. He loves the water and has started doing the doggy paddle with the help of floaties. Here's a video of him swimming.

Character Dinner

We took Tommy to a character dinner at Epcot one night. He LOVED it! He always wanted the characters to sit down and eat with him. The highlight of the evening though was dessert. They served Tommy "dirt." This consisted of chocolate pudding with crushed up oreos and gummy worms on top. Now, Tommy loves all these ingredients alone, however, I kept telling him it was dirt and he really thought it was real dirt. He was laughing hysterically and ended up spitting most of the pudding out, quite a mess! Oh well, he had fun and we were amused!

Hotel Toy Story

On vacation, we brought some of Tommy's stuffed animals from home. To our surprise, everyday, the cleaning lady would put Tommy's guys in different situations in our room. For instance, one day we came back to see them all in cuddled on the bed, holding the TV remote and watching the Disney channel! Tommy loved coming back to see where his guys would be, in fact, Chris and I would get excited too to see where they would be placed. Here are some pictures of how we found them.

Disney World Characters!

We just got back from our first family vacation to Disney World! Tommy had a blast, in fact, we all had a blast. His favorite thing to do was to meet all the characters and get their autographs.
