Jump-A-Roo Time!

AJ is big enough to fit in the jump-a-roo! He just started using this week and loves it! Everyday he gets more used to it and figures out what to do. Here's a short video of him jumping away!

On the Mend!

It appears that everyone is doing better...finally!! We have been able to get out the house and see our friends, which has been wonderful! Tommy's cough is gone and AJ's is minimal. However, he is still not sleeping the best at night, only about 2 hour stretches. It's tough, but hopefully that will end soon when the cough is completely gone! Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of pictures or videos from the past 2 weeks. All you would see is a lot of snot and vomit and hear a lot of coughing!! So I thought I would spare the audience! However, I did capture one quick video of the boys towards the end of last week. AJ had gotten his voice back and loves talking to Tommy. He is also very into grabbing things and pushing things away right now, as you will see in the video. He is almost rolling over now, he tries so hard, but it's tough for him to get his lower half over! It's quite cute (and funny) to watch. When he reaches that milestone we will post it too, look for that soon!

RSV

Sickness has entered the Cullen household. We are going on 2 weeks of sick kids. Tommy was hit with this horrible virus last week, then I knew it was only a matter of time before AJ would contract it. Both of them have had a terrible cough and congestion. The only problem is, RSV affects children under the age of one much worse. Their little bodies just are not equipped to fight off this virus. AJ ended up in the ER twice with breathing treatments. Luckily, we never had to check in to the hospital. We are continuing the treatments at home, as this cough and wheezing can last for up to two weeks. We're not getting much sleep around here, so I apologize for the lack of posts over the next couple of days. Luckily, I have not gotten sick, so even though I'm tired I'm able to manage the kids during the day. Chris and I tag team at night. We'll be glad when this is all over and can get back to much happier posts! AJ has been a trooper through it all though. He smiles at every nurse and even after coughing and vomiting, he still manages to smile. Here's a picture of our little guy. Bath time is his favorite time of day!

Cousin Tessa is about 6 months older than AJ. While we were out for dinner the other night, she just couldn't keep her hands off of him! She loves having another baby in the family to play with!

Toy Story Mania

Toy Story has exploded in our house! Tommy has become completely obsessed with Toy Story. It all started this summer on our trip to Disney World. He had never seen the movie before, in fact, I don't even think he knew about Toy Story at that time. He was more into Peter Pan and pirates. However, he fell in love with the Toy Story ride in Magic Kingdom, so we decided to take him to meet Buzz and Woody at Hollywood Studios. It was like love at first sight. He made the big plastic Buzz get down on his knees to sign his autograph book and give him a hug. This was no easy job for Buzz considering the whole costume is completely plastic, not a lot of give in the outfit. Anyways, we all know then for Halloween he had to be Buzz. Since then, it's just snowballed into this huge obsession. For instance, everyone in our family is a Toy Story character. Tommy is Buzz, Chris is Zurg (Buzz's archenemy), I'm Jesse the cowgirl, and AJ is Woody. He has to wear the Buzz costume with jet pack all the time. We don't just walk to the bathroom anymore, we fly like Buzz while shouting "Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!" I must admit this is all rather cute. It's a neat thing for him to get into. He finally saw both movies one weekend, and just couldn't stop watching them, he loved it. For awhile, he was Toy Story's biggest fan without even seeing the movie! Anyways, here are pictures of all the Toy Story gear we have collected. Much of it from his friends for his birthday. We play with EVERYTHING on a daily basis!

AJ Update

I feel like it's been awhile since I posted recent pictures of AJ. He is doing great! Just over three months now, hard to believe! We have been able to get his acid reflux under control with his new medicine just in time for him to start teething. Oh well! He usually can make it to 5AM now without waking up during the night! Yeah, sleep!! He is such a happy guy and has recently learned how to scream for joy! He loves to play on his jungle mat and reach for all the toys. He is a big flirt with the ladies of course and loves to smile at people with his eyes. He goes back to the doctor in March so we will have his latest stats then, but he continues to be a healthy boy and loves to eat! In fact, he often reaches for Tommy's food, I think one day he might get lucky!

The other day when Tommy woke up from his nap, AJ and I decided to go together and get him from his room. Tommy was so happy to see his little brother and AJ loved laying in his bed with him, he was cooing the whole time! I love watching the two boys together, I can already see a strong bond between the two of them, it's so neat to watch!

It's hard to believe AJ is almost 3 months! He is really starting to show us his personality. He is a fun, lovable guy! This video proves it!

Tommy's Big Day!

Tommy turned 3 this past Tuesday and we had a very fun filled day! First, we met friends at DQ for lunch and play. Then we were off to Daddy's work. Tommy was so excited to see where Daddy works all day long. He told me later he loved the elevator rides and daddy's lucky he gets to ride them everyday! Tommy requested then that we eat dinner at Chilis. Tommy had a great third birthday!

Princess and Pirate Party!

This past weekend we celebrated Tommy and his good friend, Siena's, 3rd birthday! They had a princess and pirate party at the Curious Kids Museum in St. Joe. It was so cute to see all the little pirates and princesses running around the museum and playing! A great time was had by all!
